The Clark Society is named for TCU’s founders, Addison and Randolph Clark. These brothers devoted their lives and their resources to making a dream come true: a liberal arts college on the rugged Texas frontier.

But the Clark Society isn’t about the past. It’s about the future — 8,749   futures.

In the 133 years since the Clark brothers established the university on the prairie, TCU has grown into one of the top 100 national universities. In the last half-decade, the University has invested approximately $190 million in campus improvements, including a $37 million renovation of every undergraduate classroom and laboratory. For the fall freshman class, 8,000 applicants vied for some 1,500 places. The Horned Frog football team captured a ninth-place post-season ranking and a Houston Bowl victory over Iowa State. What this means is that TCU is getting better for students every day!

These achievements would not have been possible without the loyal support of TCU’s alumni and friends, particularly those in the Clark Society. If you are not a Clark member already, I hope that you will consider joining the Clark Society by making an investment of $1,000 or more in excellence at TCU.

 Sincerely,

Jack Larson '86

Clark Society Chair
