Clark Society
The Clark Society is named for TCU’s founders, Addison and Randolph Clark. These brothers devoted their lives and their resources to making a dream come true: a liberal arts college on the rugged Texas frontier. But the Clark Society isn’t about the past. It’s about the future — 8,749 futures.
In the 136 years since the Clark brothers established the university on the prairie, TCU has grown into a top national university. In the recent years, TCU has invested approximately $500 million in campus improvements. The University has added a total of 89 new faculty and instructional positions in the last three years. For the fall freshman class, more than 12,000 applicants vied for some 1,750 places. The Horned Frog football team captured a seventh-place post-season ranking and was one of the 13 TCU sports that earned at top-20 ranking. These achievements mean that TCU is getting better for students every day!
These achievements would not have been possible without the loyal support of TCU’s alumni and friends, particularly those in the Clark Society. If you have not already, I hope that you will consider joining the Clark Society by making a $1,000 or more investment in excellence at TCU.
Sincerely,
Jack Larson '86
Clark Society Chair
